Hope Church Mitcham has been planted by a group of people from Ichthus Southcroft church in Streatham with a vision to share Jesus' love with the people of Mitcham and the surrounding area.
Hope Church Mitcham is led by Phil and Hayley Tate, we love Jesus and we're committed to his mission in the world. Our desire is to be and to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are a congregation of Ichthus Christian Fellowship. Through our relationship with Ichthus we are connected to a wider family of believers, a weekly Prayer Community, Bible School, Youth and Evangelism events and our Summer Festival - Revive.
Locally we gather on Sundays at 3.30pm to build relationships, pray, worship Jesus, listen to God’s word and share life with each other. That's the best place to initially connect with our church family but we also gather through the week to worship, pray and engage in evangelism as a community. On Wednesdays we gather as a smaller group to eat, worship, study the Bible, pray and share the love of Jesus on the streets.
What can you expect? We want you to feel at home – there is no dress code! We give time to worship at the beginning, followed by a talk on the Bible (and activities for the children).
Our gatherings are informal, fun, engaging and accessible to all ages. During our times together we worship, explore faith in Jesus, hear updates on family news, the projects we support locally and around the world, and pray together. We believe Jesus heals today and we are happy to pray for any sickness, pain or injury. Whatever your circumstances we would love to pray for you.
If all that sounds a bit scary or unfamiliar don't worry! We welcome new people regularly and we can talk you through it or answer any questions! If you have a question we've not answered here do get in touch.
