Hope in the Community

We believe that the good news of Jesus is for everyone, everywhere!

We know from the Bible that Jesus calls those who follow him to demonstrate his love in words, works and wonders.

Here are some of the ways we are seeking to connect local people with God's love in action.

The alpha Course

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, run over 10 weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, it runs in cafés, churches, universities,  homes, you name it - and Alpha is running in Mitcham!

Alpha is relaxed, friendly and free.  Each week we get together for some food, a talk and good conversation as we explore the basics of the Christian faith. Alpha is a journey and one of the best things is the deep relationships formed over the weeks. Wherever you're from, whatever you believe, you are welcome!

Alpha runs on consecutive Monday evenings at St Mark's Family Centre from 7:30 - 9:30pm. To inquire or sign up for this course please email alphaathope@gmail.com       or contact us on 07772460961

Hope on the Streets

Every Wednesday we gather near the Town Centre to worship Jesus, share our stories of his work in our lives and offer prayer for healing.

We believe Jesus heals today and we are happy to pray for any sickness, pain or injury. Whatever your circumstances we would love to pray for you.
